Environmental Policy

In line with our vision and core values in late 2020 the Board of Directors mandated the development and implementation of an environmental policy for the company. The policy and related operational framework were accordingly developed and implemented in the first months of 2021.

In December 2022 following an inspection by the Cyprus Certification Company (CYS) the CYS has attested that the company, during 2021, conformed in all its activities to its approved environmental policy and issued the relevant certificate. 

The Environmental Policy Statement Summary that follows below has also been updated where necessary. The full updated policy in Greek, as attested by the CYS during the recent inspection can also be found on our website.

Statement summary

This environmental Statement concerns the company Kyriakides & Pierides Overseas Ltd and is intended to provide environmental information to the public and other interested parties with regard to the environmental impact and record as well as the continuous effort of the company to improve on these values. It is also a means to respond to the requirements of interested parties affected by our activities.

This Environmental Statement covers the period for the 1^st of January 2020 to 31 December 2020 and has been drafted in accordance with Appendix IV of the European Regulation 1221/2009 (European Union Regulation (EU) 2018/2026) for the voluntary participation of organisations in a communal system of an Eco Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS).

In certain instances where consumption cannot be accurately estimated for the reference period, this is stated in the relevant consumption tables.
